Living Area Remodel

For this basement renovation, our team completed a full interior rebuild, transforming an unfinished and outdated lower level into a fully functional living space with a kitchenette and family room. The project included wall reconstruction, flooring installation, electrical upgrades, built-in elements, and all-new finishes.

Renovation Details

Wall Construction & Finishing
All walls were repaired and leveled, followed by drywall installation where required. Surfaces were prepared, smoothed, and fully painted to create a clean, uniform finish throughout the basement.

Ceiling & Lighting Installation
The ceiling was finished and equipped with recessed LED lighting. Electrical wiring was upgraded, and fixtures were installed to provide consistent illumination across all areas.

Kitchenette Build & Installation
A custom kitchenette was constructed, including installation of base and wall cabinets. Plumbing connections for the sink were completed, and space was prepared for under-counter appliances.

Backsplash Tile & Wall Shelving
A brick-style tile backsplash was installed on the kitchenette wall. Floating wooden shelves were securely mounted above the countertop to provide functional storage and structural support.

Flooring Installation
The subfloor was prepared and leveled. Carpet flooring was installed in the living area, while durable hard-surface flooring was installed in the kitchenette to handle moisture and wear.

Media Wall Panels & Built-In Shelving
Decorative wall panels were installed behind the television to create a defined media wall. Built-in shelving units were constructed and integrated into the wall for storage and visual symmetry.

Fireplace Installation
An electric fireplace was installed within the media wall. Electrical connections were completed, and the unit was securely mounted according to manufacturer specifications.

Painting & Final Finishing
All walls, panels, shelving, and trim were primed and painted. Final detailing, sealing, and cleanup were completed to deliver a finished, move-in-ready basement space.
